I laughed when I saw this image. Yarn bombing is a nice random occurrence sometimes, and this bus is amazing.
This iPhone case is nice to see. The Giving Tree was always one of the poetry books I would read as a kid, so seeing this is nice. Certain illustrations are iconic, and this is one of them.
This gradient calendar is a great alternative to its typical counterparts. It is nice to look at, simple, but interesting with a great concept to uphold.
This website for Sylvia Borgo Photography is a great example of a clean web design. Her promotional materials highlighted on the page are also clean and put together well.
These book cover designs are elegant and clean. They don’t have anything to do with the books themselves, but the details are really nice.
I’ve been thinking about what a competent designer should have as a type of moral code or belief system. This list by AIGA is a pretty good guide to figure out what that is.

This logo for a fruit company is a great example of an abstracted image. The detail and example images of how the logo is used help to visualize the product in action.
These food labels are a great mix of retro with a modern twist. They are clean but interesting to look at, something I have not yet accomplished.
